Day 1 (Jul 18, 2010)

Day 1 Sunny We all gathered at the Hong Kong International Airport at 9 p.m. After the teachers’ instructions, we checked in and took our group photos with our teachers and parents before leaving for Australia. We were all very excited about the trip. Finally, our plane took off at 11:20. We all slept after dinner so that we would have enough energy for our school tour after arrival! We were looking forward to meeting our host families!

The St. Margaret’s sports team training camp was successfully held from 27th Jun to 3rd Jul 2010 in Beijing Sport University, a leading university that nurtures top athletes in mainland China. A total number of 78 primary and secondary students coming from athletic, badminton, boys basketball and girls volleyball team participated in the camp. It was completely a breakthrough.

DAY 1 (Jun 24, 2010) - Trip from Hong Kong to Tokyo

Today is a sunny day. Twenty students from P.5 to S.1 gathered at the Hong Kong International Airport early this morning for the flight heading for Narita Airport, Tokyo.

We arrived in Japan at around 3pm (local time). Students were all very excited when the plane landed. After 1.5 hours of airport bus journey, we finally reached our hotel. We had a short walk around the hotel and had our first meal in Japan. We are all looking forward to the Japanese course starting tomorrow. Now, it's time for bed! See you!

The trip to Nanning is an interesting one. I enjoyed it myself and learned a lot of new things. The children's friendly faces in the village and the warm welcome of the villagers were especially gratifying.

A study tour to Xi'an was jointly organised by Chinese Language, Chinese History and Putonghua for Primary 5 to Secondary 2 students during the Easter holiday from 28th March to 1st April 2010. We would like our students to gain more understanding about Chinese culture and history and the study the atmosphere of the Junior High School students in China. Moreover, we would like to raise their Putonghua standard through sight-seeing and visiting local schools.

We’ve finally arrived safely in Meaudre after almost 24 hours of travel and transit! Everyone was exhausted but excited to see the town blanketed in snow, and the students had a great time playing outdoors while waiting for their French penpals to arrive.

DAY 1 (Mar 26, 2010) - Attention au depart!

The 2010 French Exchange to Toulon and Paris has started wonderfully with 16 students, Ms. Ada Kwok and Ms. Cheng arriving at the airport to get the students underway. With the kind assistance of Ms. Angelica Zamora, our Spanish Teacher and Mr. Anthony Adames, a fellow French Teacher, Ms. Kwok was able to lead the group through the final trip briefing and onto check-in.

23 Feb 2010 was our school picnic day. The picnic sites for P.1 – P.4 students, P.5 – S.2 students, and S.3 – S.7 students were Tai Po Waterfront Park, Clear Water Bay Country Park, and Aberdeen Country Park respectively. Not only did the students play happily with their classmates, they also participated in a number of inter-class games and competitions organized by teachers. Through taking part in those activities, students learned how to cooperate with one another to achieve a common goal.

DAY 1 (Feb 6, 2010) - Trip from Hong Kong to Madrid

     Today it is a warm day.The temperature is 8 degrees Celsius but there may be snow and showers tomorrow. We arrived at the hotel at 6am Hong Kong time after almost 19 hours of travel. Air France flights were excellent. The kids had lots to eat. They even reserved sandwiches and noodles for them before the other passengers got a chance to try. So far, no one has lost anything. The kids are now wide awake and ready for their first day of adventure. Adios y buenos dias de Madrid!
